Feeling galau? (meaning: disturbed and anxious)
Super tips to overcome it!
1. Grab anything non-destructive to express it
Can be anything. Paper and pencil, moulding blocks, anything. Just be sure you are not hurting yourself or doing anything damaging to yourself.
2. Walk people, walkk
Whenever I feel this way, I will just walk. As long as I want, doing and thinking about nothing. My longest durations are 4-hour walk from CitraLand Mall to Kemang and 3.5 hour walk from Binus University to Pasar Mayestik. You may risk looking like a troubled lunatic but still, this way of releasing your anxiousness is pretty much constructive rather than destructive. You get to exercise more and you are isolated from your own little world of thought for a while.
3. Write
This is another thing that I always do. I write whatever I think or feel, and it makes me feel even better when people do not have the right to judge it. This doesn't mean that I am advising you to bombard your friend's space with your drama-queenish stats every now and then, but what I mean is to find a limited media (which, essentially, not disturbing anyone's spaces and peace by your unstability) where you can express yourself a little bit more. I know that social networks and media nowadays are so prone to judgment by people and you may feel hesitant to do so due to that. Well it works for me and it may to you too, but you know. people may have different opinions. Its good to post everything positive in your public space but posting something that genuinely expresses your feeling to the very true core of it does show that you are a human being, not a positively-programmed-motivation-tv-show-host.
whenever i feel galau,
ReplyDeletesleeping and eating are the best cure :D
i don't think walking would work for me cuz it can possibly make me feel more galau.
1. the fatigue i get from walking might worsen my mood.
2. while walking i might think a lot about the problem and so it could increase accident possibility rate , if u know what i mean xD
bombarding friends' facebook news feed with personal problems is truly annoying, i couldn't agree more C:
