Dream

This post is dedicated to highlight one of the most beautiful facets of life: dream.

I was having a slight cold (plus some fever too. Well, technically now I'm still having it) and decided to watch an episode of Glee. So I ended up watching the nineteenth episode, titled Dream On, which I think is the sweetest episode in the first season. Why so? Coz I realize, that sometimes people simply forget their dreams when they think they are too small for big dreams, even if they too have the puny gut feelings that there are chances that they might be able to make them happen.

People said, dream realistically. Think about opportunities and resources. Think about your weaknesses and strengths, coz achieved dreams always start from a pretty good calculative preparation. But, really?

I might be one of those people that you call naive. I might not be the best optimist around. But there is one thing that I strongly, truly believe. Things happen, good things, because people dare to dream.

Obama became America's first black president because Martin Luther King Jr. dared to dream that racial equalities would not be impossible some day.

"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal." I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood"
                                                                                                                        Martin Luther King. Jr

All biggest world changers started on the same ground: they dared to dream. They refused to think they are too small to reach big dreams that God has planted in their heart. They refused to see available resources, bleak situations, imperfect characters. They began with the end in mind. They could see it happening before every body else did.

So what's my dream? My dream is to establish a scholarship foundation for the poor. Reason being, I believe in education. I believe that nations change because of the people. And the change an only be started from a proper education for the younger generation. I can see it happening. Not that I think that my might will take me there, but I believe that when God planted big dreams in your heart, He doesn't wanna see you feeling to small too achieve it. God is specialized in creating miracles.

One single line to believe: if you can see it happening, it will

What's you dream?
